Rosewood Plans Condo Hotel in Atlanta
ATLANTA, GA, March 14, 2006. Rosewood Hotels & Resorts is planning to develop a new condo hotel here. The Mansion on Peachtree, a Rosewood Hotel will combine a luxury hotel and condominium residences in an eight-sided tower. Designed by architect Robert Stern, the 42-story Mansion on Peachtree will be located in the affluent Buckhead neighborhood. The projected opening date is January 2008.
Rosewood is working with City Centre Properties on the property, according to John Scott III, president and CEO of Rosewood.
The Mansion on Peachtree will feature 127 hotel rooms and 45 residential units. The property will have an 80-seat fine dining restaurant; a 30-seat library/lounge bar; a specialty 100-seat restaurant; a 14,500-square-foot destination spa; and fitness facilities.
