Craig Marshall Appointed Peabody Regional Director of Operations
NATICK, MA, March 15, 2006. The Peabody Hotel Group (PHG) has appointed Craig Marshall to Regional Director of Operations at its' Brand Management Division. Marshall has been with the Peabody Hotel Group since 1999 in a highly successful role as the General Manager of the award-winning Hampton Inn and Suites at Beale Street in Memphis.
In his role as General Manager for Peabody Hotel Group, Marshall has attained consistently high levels of achievement, and under his dedicated leadership the new hotel has won several notable awards in the six years it has been open. These awards have included the Hampton Brand's "Hotel of the Year" award, twice, PHG's "Hotel of the Year" award three times, along with the prestigious 'Conrad Hilton Award', from Hilton Hotels Corporation. Marshall will continue his responsibilities as General Manager of the Hampton Inn and Suites at Beale Street, in addition to his new role in overseeing operations at the Hilton Little Rock Metro Center in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Marshall has held multiple unit responsibilities prior to joining the Peabody Hotel Group. His previous professional experience has included Director of Operations with oversight of five hotels, and Regional Marketing Director with responsibility for thirty five hotels in five states. Marshall has also developed, owned and operated his own Hampton brand hotel.
With strong professional affiliations, Marshall is a highly respected member of the professional community of Memphis. He currently holds a position on the Board of Directors of the Memphis Convention and Visitors Bureau, the Better Business Bureau, the Memphis Hotel and Lodging Association and the Brand Operations Council for the Hampton Brand of Hilton Hotels Corporation.
Marshall, a native of Detroit, has been a hospitality professional since 1971. He currently lives in Germantown, Tennessee with his wife, Karen.
