Call For Entries: Canada Travel Awards
OTTOWA, Canada, March 21, 2006. The Canadian Tourism Commission are delighted to announce that the Canada Media Awards will be presented on Friday June 30th in Central London. The best in travel media will once again be honoured in five categories covering print, television, radio , electronic media and photography and include an award for 'Outstanding Contribution to the promotion of Canada'.
Journalists, editors, PR Companies and Tour Operators can nomimate their favourite Canadian related media pieces in any of the categories.
Up to three finalists in each category will be informed of their position by early June and invited to attend the awards event. All winners, chosen from the finalists in each of the categories will receive a specially commissioned trophy.
Judges are selected to give a professional and wide ranging level of expertise in travel public relations. The full list of judges will be made available upon request after the judging process has taken place and the awards have been presented.
All entries should be received by 17.00 on Friday April 28th , 2006 with an official nomination form.
