Casa Del Mar Beach Announces Appointments

CABO SAN LUCAS, Mexico, March 30, 2006. The luxurious 56-room Casa del Mar Beach, Golf & Spa Resort, located in the trendy Tourist Corridor of Cabo San Lucas, is pleased to announce the following new appointments and promotions that have taken place within the last few months.

Bruce James, Director of Sales & Marketing:

Bringing more than a decade of sales and marketing experience and a path of success in the travel industry, Bruce James was recently appointed to the position of Director of Sales & Marketing for Casa del Mar Beach, Golf & Spa Resort in Cabo San Lucas.

James has worked in various sales and marketing executive positions in Canada and Mexico. His previous experience in Canada has included consulting positions in prestigious firms in Toronto including Analyst-Burns Fry Limited and Thomson, Tremblay Inc. He was also the director of sales and marketing for the Pantages Hotel & Spa in Toronto (opening) and the sales director-corporate for the Conventions and Visitors Bureau in Toronto.

In Mexico, James has worked in various executive management positions in the hospitality industry including the Hyatt Regency, Camino Real, and Fiesta Americana Coral Beach in Cancun. He was the general manager for Casa de los Sue~nos (opening) in Isla Mujeres and the director of sales and marketing for the exclusive La Estancia The Villa Group (opening). "His proven expertise in sales and marketing will be critical to continue elevating the resort's competitive advantage in the aggressive landscape of Los Cabos."

James, a native of Canada, is fluent in English (native) and Spanish. He attended the University of Toronto and graduated with a bachelors of arts degree in political science.

Martin Guillen, Sales and Marketing Coordinator:

Martin Guillen has joined the resort Casa del Mar Beach, Golf & Spa Resort as Sales and Marketing Coordinator. Guillen brings to Casa del Mar expertise in marketing, technology and customer service. His previous experience has included research/analyst position for Tourism Toronto and general manager assistant for Hotel Villa Rolandi, Gourmet & Beach Club in Isla Mujeres, Mexico, where he worked before joining Casa del Mar. Guillen, a native of Mexico, holds a bachelor of arts in marketing from the Instituto Tecnol'ogico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey, Mexico.

Claudia Vargas, Operations Manager:

With over seven years of professional experience in the hospitality industry, Claudia Vargas has been promoted from director of sales and marketing to operations manager.

Vargas began her career in Casa del Mar in 2000 as a reservations manager and was promoted a year later to the position of sales manager. During her four years as director of sales and marketing, Casa del Mar received prestigious accolades including the "Hotel of the Year Sea of Cortes" for best Marketing Plan in Cabo" (2005) by Classic Custom Vacations and the "1to1 Impact Award for Best Customer Strategy" by Peppers & Rogers Group, a US-based customer relationship management consulting firm. Her fast track career path in Casa del Mar is complemented with previous work experience in front-end and back-end reservations from the Westin in Los Cabos.

A native of Mexico, born in Zacatecas, Vargas holds a bachelor's degree in business administration and tourism from the University of Fresnillo, Zacatecas.
