Ward Childs Named Senior Food and Beverage Director, Executive Assistant Manager at Grand Hyatt New
NEW YORK, NY, June 28, 2005. Grand Hyatt New York, announced that Ward Childs has joined the company as Senior Food and Beverage Director, Executive Assistant Manager. He will oversee the company's entire food and beverage operation while assisting Vice President and Managing Director, Richard Morgan.

Prior to joining Grand Hyatt New York, Childs was Senior Regional Food and Beverage Director at the Hyatt Regency San Francisco, Embarcadero Center. He formerly was Food and Beverage Director at Hyatt Regency Minneapolis and Manchester Grand Hyatt in San Diego. His hospitality experience includes nearly 10 years with Hyatt Hotels Corporation, and additional experience with Quorum Hotels & Resorts; Maruko CA, Inc., and Universal Studios Hotel Properties.
Childs received a BS from the Cornell School of Hotel Administration. He is a member of the Cornell Society of Hotelmen and a member of the Brotherhood of the Knights of the Vine. While in San Francisco, he also held a position on the Advisory Panel for the California Culinary Academy in San Francisco.
