Steven Eidelberg Named Director of Travel Industry Sales for Noble House
SEATTLE, WA, April 7, 2006. Steven Eidelberg has been named director of travel industry sales for Noble House Hotels & Resorts, a privately held real estate development company that owns and manages boutique hotels and resorts across the country.
According to Al Petrone, Chief Marketing Officer of Noble House, in his new position, Eidelberg will be based in New York City, where he will directly interface with travel agents and other sales professionals to increase leisure travel business for the company's 13 boutique hotels and resorts. "Steven is a highly accomplished hospitality executive and we are very pleased to have him on our team," Petrone said. "We are confident that he will help us further drive sales for our growing collection of premier hospitality properties."
With over 20 years of hospitality industry experience, Eidelberg was previously with Sonesta Hotels, Resorts & Nile Cruises and was most recently headquartered in Miami as regional director of travel industry sales for the Boston-based company. In this capacity, he was highly successful in increasing the tour and travel markets for the Sonesta Beach Resort Key Biscayne, Sonesta Hotel and Suites Coconut Grove, and Trump International Sonesta Beach Resort.
During a successful ten-year tenure with Sonesta, Eidelberg was also director of sales and marketing for Chateau Sonesta Hotel New Orleans, as well as director of leisure sales and tour and travel sales manager for Sonesta Beach Resort Key Biscayne. In 1999, he was named Sonesta International Hotel Corporation's Hotel Salesperson of the Year. He also worked his way up the ranks at the Doral Ocean Beach Resort in Miami from tour coordinator to international sales manager.
A native of New York, Eidelberg earned a bachelor of arts degree in history and political science from Monmouth University in New Jersey, and also studied at the Boston Conservatory of Music.
