Accor North America Announces New VP/Development for Red Roof Inn

CARROLLTON, TX, April 14, 2006. Accor North America continues rapid growth and announces the hiring of Inaganti Rao as Vice President of Development for Red Roof Inn. Rao will be responsible for the identification and execution of new investment, development and expansion opportunities for Red Roof Inns.

Rao joins Accor from Ernst & Young, LLP where he was Consulting Manager with their national Real Estate Advisory Services Group in New York. Rao has more than 15 years of professional real estate development, advisory, client-service and owner's representation experience in the areas of residential, mixed-use, commercial office, retail and entertainment centers, hotels, resorts, hospitals, data centers, and land and site infrastructure development.

Rao has master's degrees in Real Estate Finance & Development from Columbia University, International Business from University of Guan, and Business Administration and Urban Planning from Kansas State University. He completed his Bachelors of Science degree at J.N. Technology University in Architecture and Building Engineering. Rao is currently a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners, the American Planning Association and the Urban Land Institute.
