Rosen Shingle Creek to use V1's PMS, POS, Sales & Catering, Spa, AR and GolfPro
ROCKVILLE, MD, April 17, 2006. Visual One Systems, a leading supplier of management software to the hospitality industry, is pleased to announce that Rosen Hotels and Resorts, based in Orlando, Florida, have chosen Visual One's suite of integrated software products for their premier site, Rosen Shingle Creek. Rosen Hotels also uses V1's software at the 800-room Rosen Plaza Hotel and 1,334-room Rosen Centre Hotel. The continuation of a trusting partnership was a key factor in their decision to select Visual One.
Rosen Shingle Creek is scheduled to open in September of 2006 less than a mile from the new Orange County Convention Center's North-South complex and next to the UCF Rosen School of Hospitality Management. The Resort will offer 250,000 square feet of dedicated state-of-the-art meeting space. The meeting space will include a 95,000 square foot, column-free ballroom. The installation will include Visual One's Property Management software, Preventative Maintenance, Restaurant Point-of-Sale, Club Management, Sales & Catering, Guest Activity Scheduling, Web Page interface, Spa, Golf course management, Dining Room Reservations, electronic registration card, Accounts Receivable and interfaces to Expedia, Passkey, and TravelClick. Rosen's Shingle Creek will be the first Visual One property to use multiple Check In/Check Out/Guest Service Kiosks, Utilize the Guest Room Key to allow charging in all Point of Sales outlets, Electronic Signature Capture in their point-of-sale outlets as well as Electronic Signature Capture of all guest folios at check-out. Because V1 programmers developed all of the applications using the same programming language and database engine (MS-SQL), all of the Rosen Resorts benefit from the seamless integration between the Visual One products.
