The Leading Hotels of the World, Ltd. recently announced the selection Deloitte and Smith Travel Research as the company's preferred providers of worldwide lodging industry metrics and property-level benchmarking reports. The mainstays of this initiative are Deloitte's global HotelBenchmark Survey, and in North America, Smith Travel Research's STAR program.
With over 30,000 hotels across 140 countries in the combined databases, the HotelBenchmark Survey and STAR programs offer the hotel industry the largest, most comprehensive, authoritative and independently collected source of performance data. The surveys measure and track occupancy, average daily room rate (ADR) and revPAR.
