InterContinental Nashville to be Part of Mixed-Use Complex

NASHVILLE, TN, April 25, 2006. The InterContinental Nashville hotel will soon rise here as part of the West End Summit, a two-tower hotel, residential and office development that will also feature high-end retail and restaurant components.

Developing the project is Alex S. Palmer & Co. Groundbreaking is set to take place in late summer. The project is expected to be completed in late 2008.

InterContinental Hotels Group will operate the hotel under a 20-year management agreement.

The InterContinental Nashville will contain 285 guestrooms, 18,000 sf of meeting space, a spa and health club, multiple dining options and a lounge. The West End Summit complex will measure 900,000 sf.
