Benchmark Appoints Linda Perin Director of Casino Finance for French Lick
HOUSTON, TX, May 2, 2006. Benchmark Hospitality International has announced the appointment of Linda Perin as director of casino finance for the historic French Lick Springs Resort & Casino. The landmark property, located in French Lick, Indiana, is being comprehensively restored and expanded with anticipated re-opening date of November 2006. Ellen Sinclair, vice president for Benchmark, made the announcement.
"Linda brings important financial management experience within the casino industry to her new position at French Lick Springs Resort & Casino," stated Sinclair. "She will be a great asset to the property and we welcome her into the Benchmark family."
Linda Perin is a hospitality finance executive with solid experience in the Midwest gaming industry. She was previously acting director of finance and casino controller for the Inn of the Mountain Gods Resort & Casino of Mescalero, New Mexico, a 273-guestroom property featuring a 38,000-square-foot casino operation. Prior to this appointment, Ms. Perin was operations controller for the Grand Victoria Casino and Resort of Rising Sun, Indiana.
Perin served as casino controller with the Majestic Star Casino of Gary, Indiana, following a period as the Casino's income audit manager. Her first position within the gaming industry was as revenue audit manager and staff accountant for the Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort, located in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan.
Earlier in her career, Ms. Perin blended her entrepreneurial talents with her profession when she was the owner and accountant for Exclusively Blinds, located in Farwell, Michigan. She also worked for a time with Central Michigan Newspapers and WCFX Radio, both of Mt. Pleasant, Michigan.
Linda Perin is a graduate of Davenport College of Business in Grand Rapids, Michigan, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration. She will relocate to the French Lick area. .com.
