AmericInn of Mountain Iron/Virginia, Minnesota Named Lodging Property of the Year
CHANHASSEN, MN, May 2, 2006. AmericInn concludes 11th annual franchise convention with record attendance and a positive brand outlook. The conference was held April 23-25, 2006 at the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center (DECC) in Duluth, Minnesota. Over 640 registered attendees including 450 franchise owners and managers represented the AmericInn Lodging System during the three-day networking and educational event.
The lineup of keynote speakers included dynamic presentations by Peter Yesawich, Mark Scharenbroich and T. Scott Gross. The power-packed conference provided the necessary tools for each attendee to achieve greater return on investment for future success. The trade exhibition hosted by AmericInn Supply and Design Services, featured 110 vendors offering a wide array of industry products and services. Award recognition was given to individuals and specific AmericInn properties for their continued commitment to the AmericInn Lodging System and special guest, Gabe Kaplan entertained attendees with comic humor during the AmericInn Comedy Hour on Monday evening.
The first AmericInn convention was held in 1995 with 50 properties in attendance. Since then AmericInn International, LLC has hosted over 10 conventions with a large representation of owners and managers in attendance each year. "Each annual convention is an opportunity to thank the entire lodging system for their dedication to the AmericInn brand and the standards our hotels represent," said Arnold Angeloni, CEO for AmericInn International, LLC. New initiatives presented at the conference include internet marketing, advertising campaign with new tagline and new prototype offerings. "Strategies are now in place to help the AmericInn Lodging System achieve future success while continuing to exceed guest expectations for an upscale and quiet lodging experience," adds Angeloni.
