Victor Woo Appointed Director of Sales and Marketing at the Hotel Del Coronado
SAN DIEGO, CA, July, 7, 2005. KSL Resorts announces Victor Woo as Director of Sales and Marketing at the Hotel del Coronado, where he will oversee the sales and marketing initiatives for the 688-room National Historic Landmark.
A multi-disciplined, sixteen-year veteran of the hospitality industry, Woo has experience in hotel management, building and maintaining resort brand and market positioning, advertising, intensifying sales and advancing revenue management practices. Victor Woo first joined the KSL team in 2001 as the Director of Sales and Marketing for the Claremont Resort and Spa in Berkeley, California. He also managed Group Sales, FIT Sales, Marketing, Catering and Conference Services and Group Spa Sales. In 2004, Woo was appointed to the position of transitional General Manager, where he was responsible for over 600 associates and oversaw the resort's conversion to new ownership.
Prior to joining KSL Resorts, Woo served as Director of Sales and Marketing at Sonoma Spa Resorts: Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa and Ventana Inn & Spa. Previous professional experience includes the Inter-Continental Hotel Chicago (Director of Sales), Mark Hopkins Inter-Continental Hotel San Francisco (Director of Incentive Sales), and the Renaissance Parc 55 Hotel (Director of Corporate Sales). His career in the hospitality industry began with the Kimpton Group Galleria Park Hotel in 1989.
Woo earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of San Francisco, California. He is married and resides in San Diego, California.
