Kor Group Appoints VP, Hotel Acquisitions
LOS ANGELES, CA, June 1, 2006. Peter Willis Appointed Vice President Of Hotel Acquisitions For The Kor Group - Industry veteran joins Los Angeles-based Kor Group in new Miami regional sales office
Jeffrey Smith, COO of The Kor Group, the Los Angeles-based hotel, real estate development and management firm, is pleased to announce the recent appointment of Peter Willis to the position of Vice President, Hotel Acquisitions. Willis will be based out of Kor's newly launched sales and development office in Miami and will focus primarily on hotel acquisitions and management contracts for the East Coast and Caribbean markets. Willis began his official tenure with The Kor Group on May 31st of this year.

Willis joins The Kor Group with seventeen years of experience in the hospitality and real estate industries. Most recently, he spent five years as Vice President of Business Development/Acquisitions for Innkeepers USA Trust in Palm Beach, Florida. Prior to that, Willis was with a prominent industry consultant for six years, overseeing project execution support for the repositioning and opening of luxury properties throughout the US and Southeast Asian region.
Willis holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Florida and has completed additional coursework through the School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University.
