Malone Joins FreemanGroup
JUNE 7, 2006. Kedrick Malone has joined FreemanGroup as the Managing Partner of their newest division, FreemanGroup Destinations.
FG Destinations is a major initiative designed to offer tourism destinations a fully integrated and comprehensive approach to establishing, implementing and maintaining international service standards through measurable training processes.
"We're delighted to have Kedrick on board, a stellar addition to our team," said Bill Freeman, Chief Executive Officer of FreemanGroup. "His appointment marks the evolution of a significant commitment the firm is making to the Caribbean region. This is the first of several major announcements we'll have in the coming year," he concluded.
Prior to his current position, Malone served as Director of Tourism for the British Virgin Islands where he was responsible for the country's promotion and development of the tourism sector.
He also served as Deputy Permanent Secretary to the Chief Minister of the British Virgin Islands where he spearheaded the development of the territory's first Film Commission.
During the past 25 years, Malone has held other positions in the private, public, small business and nonprofit sectors including IBM Corporation and Chairman of the BVI Chamber of Commerce and Hotel Association.

Malone received a Master of Business Administration from Bernard M. Baruch College, City University of New York. He resides in the British Virgin Islands.
