Boca Raton Resort Appoints Carolina Sotomayor National Sales Manager
BOCA RATON, FL, July 17, 2006. Sotomayor will be responsible for convention sales in the United States South Central Region and West Coast as well as soliciting new business and maintaining existing relationships with the Resort & Club's valued current and past clients.
Prior to her appointment, Sotomayor spent four months as the Resort & Club's leisure sales manager. Earlier, she spent two years as a corporate sales manager with the Brazilian Court Hotel in Palm Beach, Fla. where she was responsible for transient, corporate and group business. She also spent one year as an outside sales manager with the Radisson Suite Hotel in Boca Raton. Sotomayor has been in the hospitality industry for eight years and has a bachelor's degree in hospitality management administration from Lynn University in Boca Raton.
