Luxury, Landmark Hotels in London, Rome and Spain Join Luxe Worldwide Hotels

LOS aNGELES, CA, July 18, 2005. Luxe Worldwide Hotels is growing its impressive collection of deluxe, independent hotels and resorts across the globe. Recently the Hotel Albergo Ces`ari in Rome, the Astoria Hotel in Barcelona, Spain, and the Abbey Court Hotel in London have joined the Luxe portfolio, which includes more than 200 hotels in 27 countries.

Harkham said he attributes Luxe's continued growth to its ability to meet the individual needs of its member properties through customized services; its sophisticated yet easy-to-manage booking engine; and Harkham's own personal experience as a hotel owner. He currently owns the Luxe Hotel Sunset Boulevard in Bel Air and the Luxe Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Established in 1787, Hotel Albergo Ces`ari is located in the heart of Rome, ideally situated between the Fontana di Trevi and the Pantheon. The hotel was built during the first half of the 18th century, and has accommodated many famous figures, including Stendhal and Gregorovius.

Completely refurbished in 2002, the 47 sound-proof guestrooms feature satellite television, central air conditioning, mini-bar, in room safe, hairdryer and direct-dial telephone. Additional hotel amenities include a DSL Internet station, buffet breakfast and a private garage near the hotel (at extra cost). Non-smoking floors are also available.

Albergo Cesari is only a few minutes from the Termini Main Railway Station, the Leonardo train to Fiumicino Airport, and is also a convenient walking distance from bus and metro access stations. Hotel Astoria was built in 1952 and has attentively maintained the charm, beauty, and decorative aspect of that era. It has been a symbol of quality amongst the plentiful Spanish hotels of Barcelona. Recently refurbished honoring the same materials as in the original construction, the hotel has thoughtfully incorporated the latest technology to provide maximum comfort while maintaining a traditional ambience.

The hotel provides 117 guestrooms, all offering direct-dial telephone, in-room safe, mini-bar, satellite television with Canal Plus and pay movie channels, fax/modem connections, hairdryer, and climate-control air-conditioning.
