Flavor Beyond Borders
JULY 1, 2009 - The Panamanian gastronomy, delicious and varied, reaches the mountains of Aspen, Colorado, taking along a mixture of our representative smells, colors and flavors to the prestigious Food & Wine Classic.
Every year the most important chefs of the world reunite at this event, offering the most delicious recipes of their countries to be tasted by the most selected palates.
This year, Panama will offer all of its splendor in a very colorful stand, with the participation of the renowned chef Cuquita Arias de Calvo, who will delight all of the guests with her own and exquisite recipes.
Her menus will include representative elements of the Panamanian native cuisine, with the best seafood from our two oceans, fresh vegetables, fruits and coffee from our highlands, grains and meats from the interior of the republic and much more; all this perfectly combined in incomparable recipes that will be served in picturesque artisan crafts, very folkloric and typical of Panama.
You can follow the T.V. coverage of this festival through Plum TV in the United States on June 19, 20 and 21, 2009.
