Wyndham Names Clyde Guinn President of Days Inn
A Thirty-Five-Year Hospitality Professional,
PARSIPPANY, NJ, August 10, 2009 - Thirty-five-year hospitality professional Clyde Guinn has joined Wyndham Hotel Group, the world's largest hotel company with approximately 7,000 hotels and 11 brands, as president of the Days Inn(R) chain.
Guinn will be responsible for the growth and performance of the brand, which currently has a portfolio of more than 1,850 hotels and nearly 150,000 rooms around the world, and will work closely with the brand's operations and property openings, design and development, franchise services, quality assurance, training, development and marketing teams.
He comes to the company after serving more than nine years as senior vice president of operations for Stanford Hotels Corporation, a San Francisco-based hotel company specializing in the development and management of full-service hotels spanning various brands. Among his accomplishments, he played a pivotal role in guiding Stanford's portfolio of hotels through the post September 11th environment, growing customer and associate satisfaction while increasing market share and revenue.

Guinn brings to Wyndham Hotel Group more than 35 years' experience in the lodging industry, including eight years with Radisson Hotels & Resorts as regional vice president of its central and western regions and as senior vice president of management services.
Prior to Radisson, Guinn held numerous property-level management and sales positions, including general manager of the 280-room Kansas City Marriott Country Club Plaza, general manager of the former 600-room Adam's Mark Charlotte and general manager of the former 374-room Adam's Mark Kansas City. He also spent five years with Marriott Hotels International.
Guinn is a certified hotel administrator by the American Hotel & Motel Association, a Covey Leadership Center certified facilitator and a member of the Confrerie de la Chaine des Rotisseurs, the world's oldest international gastronomic society dedicated to providing excellence in the hospitality arts.
