Best Western Opens Premier Songdo Park in Incheon

AUGUST 12, 2009 - Best Western Premier Songdo Park, Incheon celebrated its official grand opening on August 5, 2009, with a special ceremony attended by the Mayor of Incheon Metropolitan city along with several congressmen and other distinguished guests.

'Best Western Premier Songdo Park Hotel has been designed to be one of the foremost hotels representing South Korea's international business aspirations in this rapidly developing business and leisure destination,' said Glenn de Souza, Best Western International Vice President International Operations for Asia. 'As our newest hotel in the beautiful city Incheon, it gives us the kind of quality and capacity we need to contribute to the exciting economic development that lies ahead for the area,' the executive added.

Overall the project aspires to make the city and South Korea the preeminent business hub of Asia. As such, among the VIPs on the guest list for the hotel's opening ceremony were Mr. Sang Soo Ahn, Mayor of Incheon Metropolitan City & Congressman, Mr. Hun Suk Lee, President of Incheon Free Economic Zone Company, Mr. Hwan Ik Cho, President of KOTRA (Korea Trade-investment Promotion Agency) and Mr. Jae geun Choi, President of Incheon Tourism Organization.

With 300 stylish rooms and suites boasting ocean and parkland views, the hotel offers the full range of superior amenities and facilities discerning travelers wish for on a vacation or business trip.
