Courtyard by Marriott New Haven/Orange Completes Renovations
Revitalized Lobby Welcomes Guests with New Places to Eat, Connect, Work and Relax
OCTOBER 7, 2009 - The Courtyard by Marriott New Haven/Orange hotel has announced the completion of a comprehensive renovation to all public areas.
"These renovations will enhance our guests' experience with the brand and their stay immediately upon arrival," said Nadine Azzaro, general manager. "One of the most noticeable improvements was to our lobby, which features an open, bright and contemporary design in accents of blue, green, orange and red."
The floor-to-ceiling lobby transformation has created new places to eat, work, connect and relax in an inviting area filled with comfortable and flexible seating options. The traditional front desk has been replaced with separate welcome podiums for a more personalized check-in. A large, communal table, located in the middle of the action, provides a casual area to mix and mingle. Flexible and functional media pods, semi-enclosed booths with personal high-definition TVs, provide a place to work and socialize. Guests can retrieve information at their fingertips with the signature, interactive GoBoardTM, a 52-inch LCD touch screen packed with area information, restaurants, weather, and maps. With complimentary Wi-Fi internet access, guests can easily work and stay connected while on the road.
The new lobby Bistro provides an enhanced menu for travelers with hot picks, refreshing choices and healthy options. Breakfast is made-to-order along with Starbucks-brewed coffee. And a complete restaurant area and bar add ambiance and dining for evening activity.
Guests may also work and relax in casual comfort outside in the courtyard, complete with new fire pit. Other areas that received improvements include all guestroom corridors, meeting spaces and exercise room. In addition, all guestrooms received new furniture.
