. October 12, 2009

NEW YORK, NY, October 12, 2009 - Distinguished(R) International Hotels, Residences and Resorts is pleased to welcome Alison Partridge as the new Director of Development, Western Canada and Asia.

The Distinguished(R) brand is geared to boutique-style independently owned luxury hotels that are unique to their region and stand out by the highest standards of service they uphold.

With a career in the travel and hospitality industries that spans over 37 years, Mrs. Partridge brings an innovative approach that includes such notable accomplishments as launching her own Public Relations and Marketing firm that catered to airline companies and tour operators while she was based in the UK, to creating SWAP for Travel CUTS, today's largest student work exchange worldwide, and managing travel agencies in New Zealand and Canada.

In her native city of Victoria, British Columbia in Western Canada, she sits on numerous boards and executive committees, and has been the President of SKAL International Victoria for the past two years.

In her new role with Distinguished(R), Alison Partridge will undertake the brand development within the luxury boutique hotel market niche throughout Western Canada and the Far East.

"I have been marketing travel businesses for many years," explains Alison Partridge, "and piercing the US market is different than any other market in the world. You need to know it well and how to reach your target audience, otherwise you could be spending valuable marketing dollars with very few results. Bill and his team have a very comprehensive approach; their program is designed from an hotelier's point of experience which makes all the difference. I am truly excited to be part of this dynamic brand."

"The timing couldn't be better," Bill Burruss, President of Distinguished(R) International Hotels, Residences and Resorts, "Alison's experience in Asia, especially in China, and on the West Coast is an answer to many demands we have been receiving from these market areas. Again, making headway in the North American luxury travel market is key for independent hotels, and the high visibility garnered by our marketing program is proving to be quite successful. We are very pleased with the results so far, and I am looking forward to years of growth with Alison's key collaboration."
