Harbour Plaza 8 Degrees - Kowloon, Hong Kong
Opened in October 2009, Harbour Plaza 8 Degrees is already receiving accolades for its distinctive design, especially for its renowned optical illusion lobby which was created to evoke the feeling of being inside Italy's Leaning Tower of Pisa. The first hotel from renowned Latin American fashion designer Silvia Tcherassi, the Tcherassi Hotel + Spa opened in 2009 after an extensive restoration and renovation of a magnificent 250-year-old colonial mansion. The luxurious, home-like hotel offers seven oversized guestrooms and suites featuring dramatic high ceilings, private balconies, rich wood floors and open bathrooms.
