Hospitality Leaders Plan 2010 HFTP Conference Education
AUSTIN, TX, December 14, 2009 - Planning is underway for several education programs for Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals' (HFTP®) conferences, including the Club and Hotel Controllers Conference and Annual Convention & Tradeshow. The Education Advisory Council, a group of hospitality leaders, is designing programs for both conferences that address the important issues and needs of the hospitality finance and technology industries. Hospitality professionals are encouraged to submit education topic suggestions to the Education Advisory Council. The deadlines for submission include January 15, 2010 for Club and Hotel Controllers Conference and February 12, 2010 for Annual Convention & Tradeshow.
“Every year the Education Advisory Council, planners and staff go out of their way to make sure HFTP conferences focus on the immediate and future needs of attendees,” said Lenora Streitfeld, CHAE, CHTP, controller for Seawane Golf and Country Club and co-chair of the Education Advisory Council. “We encourage professionals to submit presentation topics from all areas of hospitality so that we can offer a full spectrum of education and value to attendees.”
The Club and Hotel Controllers Conference, co-located with the 2010 Hospitality Industry Technology Exposition and Conference (HITEC®), is scheduled for June 22-23 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla. The popular conference has an education program that includes general sessions and concurrent sessions with two industry-specific tracks, one for hotels and the other for clubs.
HFTP's 2010 Annual Convention & Tradeshow is October 11-14 at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront in San Diego, Calif. All in one place, the convention offers attendees a way to find cost-effective solutions to their current work challenges, stay informed on the hottest industry topics, expand their network, increase their professional value and become empowered.
The education sessions are presented by experts and industry insiders from all segments of the hospitality industry and include three general sessions and five concurrent education session tracks — club, hotel, general, technology and leadership unlimited.
