USTA - PSAs Promote Benefits of Travel

February 3, 2010 - The U.S. Travel Association is pleased to share an exciting opportunity to help you promote the benefits of travel in a visually compelling fashion.

As you know, over the past year the U.S. Travel Association has been actively engaged in advocating for why travel matters, promoting its economic impact to policymakers and its impact on the bottom line to business leaders.

To help us promote the benefits of travel to individuals, the Travel Channel has partnered with us to produce four public service announcements that are now airing on their network as part of its schedule.

After receiving an enthusiastic response from our board, the Travel Channel agreed to allow us to make these PSAs available to the entire travel community to help spread the word about the benefits of travel for our health, education, creativity, job performance and general well-being.

Consider incorporating these PSAs into your marketing and outreach activities, including:

  • Your website
  • Your various online channels (i.e., YouTube, Vimeo, Facebook)
  • Presentations to policymakers and the general public
  • Messages to clients
  • State travel welcome and visitors information centers
  • Kiosks for marketing to the general public
