Best Western Terminates Contract with Hanoi Hotel
February 24, 2010 - Best Western International has terminated its contract with the Muong Thanh hotel in Hanoi, Vietnam. As a result, and with immediate effect, the hotel will no longer carry the Best Western branding.
“It is with regret Best Western International has ended its association with Muong Thanh hotel. Best Western meanwhile is continuing with its expansion plans in Vietnam, an important destination in our growth plans for Southeast Asia” said Best Western International's Vice President Operations for Asia Glenn de Souza.
Best Western already operates the Best Western Pearl River Hotel in Hai Phong city. There are five more properties set to open in the vibrant country in the next two years, which will give the brand almost 900 hotel rooms in Lao Cai, Halong Bay, Nha Trang, and other major destinations.
