Great Wolf Resorts Names Ken Broom Assistant GM at Grapevine
GRAPEVINE, TX - (April 5, 2010) - Great Wolf Resorts, Inc.® (NASDAQ:WOLF), North America's largest family of indoor waterpark resorts, today announced that Ken Broom has been named Assistant General Manager of Great Wolf Lodge® in Grapevine, Texas.
Broom is responsible for the successful daily operation and management of the 605-suite Great Wolf Lodge and its more than 600 pack members. He has been with the company for three years. As Director of Sales & Marketing, Broom was on the pre-opening team for the Grapevine property, and the second team member hired to run the Dallas-Ft. Worth-area indoor waterpark resort.
Prior to joining Great Wolf Lodge, Broom spent 23 years in the hospitality industry. Most recently, he worked with Marriot's Western Division for seven years in various sales & marketing roles, including Market Director of Sales for Texas. Broom's exeperience in group sales and hotel management have provided him with the background and training to become a leader in the hospitality industry.
Broom earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Marketing from the Univeristy of Arkansas at Fayetteville.
