Aqua Hotels & Resorts Welcomes Jernell Mendonca and Luana Kekaula-Castillo
Aqua Hotels & Resorts, a Hawaii-based lodging company, welcomes Jernell Mendonca, General Manager and Luana Kekaula-Castillo, Sales Manager of the Maile Sky Court.

Jernell Mendonca, General Manager
Mendonca has more than 20 years of Hawaii hotel and lodging experience. She has held management positions with Aston Hotels & Resorts and Castle Resorts & Hotels at various properties including Waikiki Shore, Hawaiian Monarch, Inn on the Park and, as general manager of the Waikiki Terrace (now Luana Waikiki).
Mendonca has been general manager of the 596-room Maile Sky Court since July 2008. She leads a team of dedicated employees who make this property a favorite choice of travelers on a budget.
Aqua Hotels & Resorts assumed management of the Maile Sky Court in December 2009.
Luana Kekaula-Castillo, Sales Manager
With over 25 years of hospitality experience, Kekaula-Castillo handles all aspects of sales generated from all market segments for Maile Sky Court referred from Aqua's home office as well as through her own partnership and development efforts. She also handles group requests for the hotel and assists revenue and reservations with rates, availability, contracts and projects.
Prior to her position with Maile Sky Court, Kekaula-Castillo held sales management positions with Castle Resorts & Hotels, Business Leisure Holidays, Aston Hotels & Resorts and Ala Moana Hotel. She graduated from Cannon's College of Business and has completed sales and marketing management training programs with Holiday Inns and Best Western Hotels.
