Boston, MA - June 4, 2010 - Sonesta Collection announced today the grand opening of its second hotel in Colombia, the 126-room Sonesta Hotel Barranquilla. This full-service hotel is located in the midst of business, shopping, restaurants and cultural attractions in downtown Barranquilla. The hotel is located adjacent to the Centro Comercial Grand Boulevard on Carretera, and adjoins the new shopping mall, casino and nightclub complex. This hotel, and its sister properties in Valledupar, Colombia; Peru; and Chile are the result of an ongoing relationship between GHL Hoteles and Sonesta.
