Arlington Residence Court to Open February 5th, 2007

. October 14, 2008

ALINGTON, VA, January 17, 2007. Sunburst Hospitality announced today plans to open the Arlington Residence Court, an upscale extended stay hotel in the Clarion Collection, ideally located in Arlington, Virginia, steps away from the seats of government, military, university and business headquarters, on February 5th of this year. Complete information on the hotel, rates and amenities can be accessed at www.arlingtonresidencecourthotel.com.

The new property springs from Sunburst's $16 million renovation of the public and guest room space of an existing hotel located in Arlington, Virginia, steps from the Courthouse metro stop. Conducted by Donohoe Construction, one of the DC area's leading construction firms, the hotel's renovation has resulted in what promises to be the area's premier upscale extended stay property.

"This unique hotel is positioned for the immediate success. Guests will benefit from the hotel's proximity to diverse corporate and government operations. Whether traveling for business or leisure, the beautifully renovated all-suite hotel offers travelers a well-appointed home away from home," said Kevin Hanley, President of Sunburst Hospitality.

Those who stay at the new property can select from 187 beautifully renovated suites, efficiencies to three-bedrooms, decorated in soft tones from the plush carpets and rich furnishings to the sleek granite-finished bathrooms and hand-chosen artwork. Guests will also benefit from the fresh hotel's comfort beds triple sheeted with premium linens, full kitchens, and oversized work areas with free high-speed wired and wireless DSL internet connections. The hotel's amenities include a full-service business center, complimentary fitness facility and in-room Botanica spa products.

Situated in the heart of the bustling Clarendon/Courthouse district, the Arlington Residence Court places guests within easy reach of all major sites, whether for business or pleasure. Within walking distance to charming local bistros and an acclaimed weekend farmer's market, as well as such national retailers as Pottery Barn, Barnes and Noble, and Whole Foods, the hotel truly allows guests to become residents of the lively neighborhood and benefit from proximity to both local and federal government entities as well as universities, businesses and associations.

Because the Arlington/Washington DC area has high barriers to entry, few new hotels have broken ground during the past decade despite strong consumer demand.

"This was excellent use of an incredible location," affirmed John Malixi, Director of Sales for the Arlington Residence Court. "Travel research demonstrates that the DC metro area has one of the nation's strongest room night demands and average daily rates. Many nights of the week there are simply not enough rooms to satisfy demand.

"If you are a traveler planning an extended stay in the area, finding a hotel that provides a high level of comfort, combined with desirable location, is likely to require paying a high premium. This new hotel will provide travelers the option of luxurious extended stay accommodations at a reasonable rate," said Mr. Malixi.

Mr. Malixi is a firm believer in the new hotel's slogan:

Located for Success,

Designed to Inspire;

The Best Place to Stay a While

"The Arlington Residence Court Hotel will quickly develop a reputation as a highly comfortable home away from home," predicted Mr. Malixi. "We will also offer on-site meetings through our more than 4,000 square feet of flexible meeting space. The potential to hold on-site trainings is already attractive to an array of entities from Associations and Government entities to Embassies and the AARP."

Mr. Malixi and his well-trained staff are certain early guests will be delighted. "Every detail has been impeccably attended to," enthused Mr. Malixi, who is eager for the hotel's completion. "By this fall I am confident that 1200 North Courthouse will be the most desirable address in Northern Virginia."
