Benchmark Appoints Dan Weindruch CFO. French Lick
HOUSTON, TX, September 7, 2006. Benchmark Hospitality International has appointed Dan Weindruch chief financial officer for French Lick Resort Casino, the landmark property located in French Lick, Indiana. General Manager, Scott Spurlock made the announcement.
"It is with great pleasure that I welcome Dan to Benchmark at French Lick Resort Casino," said Mr. Spurlock. "He brings extensive experience in casino resort financial management to his new role as chief financial officer. We look forward to his leadership at this great Midwestern destination."
Mr. Weindruch comes to his new position with nearly 15 years of casino industry experience. Most recently, he was general manager for the Coushatta Casino Resort, a 600-guestroom Native American-owned property located in Kinder, Louisiana. The large resort's casino includes more than 2800 slot machines, 61 table games, six food & beverages venues, a championship golf course and more.
Previous to this position, Weindruch was vice president and general manager for the Isle of Capri Casino of Kansas City, Missouri. Weindruch joined Isle of Capri Casinos, Inc. in 1991, serving in various financial and management capacities at the company's properties as well as the corporate office.
Mr. Weindruch holds a Bachelors degree in Economics from the Wharton School, the University of Pennsylvania. He is relocating to the French Lick area.
