Hilton Welcomes Dane Gorup as General Manager of Hilton Santa Barbara Beachfront Resort
Hilton (NYSE: HLT) has appointed Dane Gorup as the new general manager of Hilton Santa Barbara Beachfront Resort, a beloved coastal retreat set on 24 oceanfront acres. In this role, Gorup will lead resort operations, overseeing the next chapter of the recently renovated property, with a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences and fostering a strong team culture at the 335-room beachfront resort.

Gorup has worked with the Hilton brand for 30 years, having built his career within Hilton's Southern California portfolio. As a native of Orange County, Gorup's extensive tenure in Southern California reflects a deep-rooted commitment to the region's hospitality industry. Most recently, he served as resort manager at the historic Hotel del Coronado. Prior to that, he spent over two decades at Hilton Anaheim, a property where he held leadership roles that included assistant food & beverage manager, director of catering, and director of food & beverage.
Throughout his career, Gorup has earned numerous accolades, including Hilton's prestigious Circle of Excellence Award. Beyond his operational leadership, Gorup serves on the Board of Directors for the Chaine des Rôtisseurs, an esteemed international gastronomic association which has afforded him invaluable exposure to world-class restaurants, chefs, and industry leaders.
Outside of work, Dane enjoys exploring Santa Barbara's vibrant culinary scene, playing golf, mountain biking, and hiking along the city's scenic trails.
