Hotel AG Sells West Monroe Hilton Garden Inn
ATLANTA, GA - August 30, 2010 - Hotel Assets Group, LLC (Hotel AG), announced today that the firm negotiated the sale of the Hilton Garden Inn located in West Monroe, Louisiana. The 134-room Hilton Garden Inn West Monroe was sold to Apple REIT Nine on behalf of Jackie's International for an undisclosed amount.
“The acquisition of this property provided the buyer an opportunity to own a top performing hotel in the market,” said Brad Sinclair, a vice president for Hotel AG. “The hotel is across from the Ike Hamilton Expo Center and three miles from the West Monroe Convention Center - both major demand generators that contribute to the property's strong operating performance.”
The five-story Hilton Garden Inn West Monroe was built in 2007 and is located off Interstate 20 adjacent from the Ike Hamilton Expo Center, the largest equestrian facility in Louisiana. The Buyer plans to perform minor renovations and continue operating the hotel as a Hilton Garden Inn.
