New Executive Sous Chef Joins Westin Westminster Culinary Team
September 10, 2010 - The Westin Westminster is pleased to announce that James Deimling has been hired to serve as the hotel's new Executive Sous Chef.
Mr. Deimling joins The Westin Westminster from the Four Seasons Hotel in Seattle, where he served as Sous Chef. Prior to that, he worked at Seattle's Cascadia Restaurant, Denver's Epicurean Entertainment and at the Keystone Ranch, the Alpenglow Stube, Keystone Lodge and the Keystone Conference Center all located in Keystone, Colorado.
Led by Executive Chef Kurt Zuger, the Westin Westminster's culinary team is responsible for creating exemplary food for O's, the hotel's highly acclaimed restaurant, as well as more than 30,000 square feet of state-of-the-art meeting and banquet space. With a contemporary elegant decor, O's features exceptional cuisine - including Certified Angus Beef and fresh fish flown in daily from both coasts - served in a beautiful airy space that includes a large outdoor patio complete with a fire pit and gorgeous views of the majestic Rocky Mountains.
Ideally situated halfway between Denver and Boulder, the AAA Four Diamond Westin Westminster showcases Westin's premier amenities - including the Westin Heavenly Bed and Westin Heavenly Bath. Managed by Denver-based Sage Hospitality Resources, The 369-room Westin Westminster installed 139 state-of-the-art solar panels on its roof in June, making it the first hotel in Colorado to be partially solar powered.
