Fred Hoffmann Named GM Hyatt Regency Aruba

October 25, 2010 - Hyatt Regency Aruba Resort & Casino announced the appointment of Fred Hoffmann as the new General Manager of Aruba's premier beachfront property. A 20-year veteran of the Hyatt family, Mr. Hoffmann brings his expertise and passion for the hotel brand to Hyatt Regency Aruba. In the General Manager position, Mr. Hoffmann will oversee all aspects of the resort's operations, including food and beverage, staff service training, public relations, sales, marketing and more.

Mr. Hoffmann comes to the Hyatt Regency Aruba with a vast knowledge of the property and island. He began his hospitality career at the resort in 1990 as a banquet manager for the opening team. Most recently, Mr. Hoffmann served two years as the General Manager of Hyatt Key West Resort & Spa. He also held positions at a number of distinct, high-end properties, including Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront and Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress, both in Florida; and at Hyatt resorts on Grand Cayman Island and in Puerto Rico.

Mr. Hoffmann is a native of the Netherlands who received his Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality Management from De Kogge Hotel, Catering & Management School in Amsterdam.
