Alan R. D'Zurilla Joins The Lodge of Four Seasons as DoSM

FOUR SEASONS, MO - December 7, 2010 - The Lodge of Four Seasons has appointed Alan D'Zurilla as the new Director of Sales and Marketing. Bringing over 35 years of experience to the position, D'Zurilla looks forward to overseeing the marketing and sales teams while increasing the revenue in a dramatic fashion with diverse operations.

D'Zurilla makes the move to The Lodge of Four Seasons from Crowne Plaza Ravinia (Atlanta, GA), part of Crestline Hotels and Resorts, where he was responsible for nearly all revenue of the large hotel and meeting space. As Director of Sales and Marketing, he was also accountable for A&S expenses and managing the activities of the group sales, catering, and conference departments.

In 2007, D'Zurilla served on a task force for a luxury all suite resort in Las Vegas Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Revenue Management for Access Hotel Advisors. Prior to joining Access Hotels and Resorts, he directed all sales, marketing and revenue generation activities for the 2,200 acre Double JJ Ranch & Golf Resort in western Michigan. At the Double JJ, D'Zurilla was responsible for launching the successful opening of the resort's 60,000 square foot indoor waterpark and entertainment center, while marketing ongoing seasonal activities that included their unique "western" equestrian program, an Arthur Hills designed championship golf course, outdoor winter activities and all entertainment venues.

D'Zurilla has held similar positions for luxury resorts, such as The Registry Naples, Wyndham SeaWorld and The Fontainebleau, Miami Beach, Florida; The Esmeralda, Indian Wells (Palm Springs),California and The Hamilton Princess, Bermuda. His hotel experience includes properties in the Chicago area, where he also held the position as President of the 25-member hotel InterContinental Hotel Group's Holiday Inn Hotel Marketing Association. D'Zurilla has over 10 years of experience with the Hilton Hotels Corporation, including directing the sales effort for the world famous Waldorf Astoria in New York City.

Alan D'Zurilla is originally from Middletown, New Jersey and earned his bachelor's degree from Michigan State University's business school of Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Management.
