January 4, 2011 - Introducing an entirely new look and concept to the Biscayne Bay hotel and dining scene, the enhancement project took two years and 31 million dollars.

The much anticipated multi-million dollar renovation of Miami's only marina front hotel, the Miami Marriott Biscayne Bay, is now complete. Introducing an entirely new look and concept to the Biscayne Bay hotel and dining scene, the enhancement project took two years and 31 million dollars. • Modern and comfortable guestrooms
• $17 million of the renovation dedicated to the redesign of 600 guestrooms and suites.
• Streamlined public areas
• An entirely new lobby concept introduces lounge seating that inspires conversation, wi-fi to stay connected, custom lighting and timeless design elements inspired by marina and water motifs.
• A New Twist on Dining
• Catch Grill + Bar, a brand new waterfront dining experience with indoor and outdoor seating. Offers an inspired menu of fresh seafood, grilled specialties, specialty cocktails and more. A combination of colors and textures meld the indoor space with the outside views creating an exceptional dining venue. Art glass, natural stone, teak and espresso wood finishes reflect the modern Miami vibe.
• Expressamente illy Cafe, a cafe with a cult following. Located in the newly designed lobby, will offer coffee, sandwiches, snacks and evening cocktails. (Opening Winter 2011.)
