New Management Company to Effectively Manage Hotel Assets
The North Central Group launches North Central Hospitality, its third-party management division
Middleton, WI - January 19, 2011 - The North Central Group, owners, developers and operators of quality hotels, announced today the launch of North Central Hospitality, its third-party management company created to assist hotel owners and investors in more effectively managing their assets.
With more than 30 years of experience operating nearly 50 of its own hotels during that time, The North Central Group is ready to leverage its strength and expertise to provide other owners with property management solutions. The addition of seasoned hospitality professional Bill Petschonek provides the company with the leadership and focus needed to deliver results to owners of the hotels it manages.
“Our industry has certainly been affected by the downturn in the U.S. economy, and we're hearing more and more from organizations and investors how they're simply not adequately equipped to operate their hotels as effectively as they'd like,” said Dave Lenz, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of The North Central Group. “We know how to operate hotels from the owners' perspective; we've been doing it since 1981,” he went on to say. Adds Jonathan Bogatay, President and COO, “In the last several years, we've been approached rather frequently by owners asking if we would consider managing their hotels. Up until the last couple of years, we've had so much development activity that we really didn't have the capacity to assist them. As our development pipeline has slowed, as it has industry wide, we're now in a position to deploy our resources and put our management expertise to work for assets outside our portfolio.”
