Pam Smith Appointed Director of Leisure Sales, Park Hyatt Beaver Creek

BEAVER CREEK, CO - February 10, 2011 - Park Hyatt Beaver Creek Resort and Spa announced today the addition of Pam Smith as the new director of leisure sales. Smith most recently worked at the Vail Cascade Resort & Spa as the director of leisure sales.

In her role as director of leisure sales at Park Hyatt Beaver Creek, Smith will manage both wholesale and travel agent markets for the resort on a domestic and international level. She will be responsible for various partnerships, ensure leisure guest satisfaction and coordinate customer events for the resort. In addition, Smith will work closely with the resorts' leisure revenue team to continue to drive transient business through creative channels and opportunities.

In addition to her previous roles at the Vail Cascade Resort & Spa as director of leisure sales and director of sales, Smith also worked as manager of tour & travel at Copper Mountain Resort. During her professional career, Smith has been awarded both Peak Performer and Diamond Performer awards, Sales Manager of the Year and Chairman's Club by Destination Hotels & Resorts. These accolades are awarded to sales managers who achieve their sales quotas and exceed 115% of their annual sales goal.
