Warwick International Takes On New Global Accounts Sales Manager
February 16, 2911 - Reflecting strong and sustained customer growth from Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific region, Warwick International Hotels (WIH) has appointed a new Global Accounts Sales Manager to be based in Australia. Richard Hoe brings more than a decade of sales management experience in the hospitality industry to the new post, including stints in Hong Kong, Malaysia and in his native Australia.
“Richard's background is exceptionally diverse within our industry,” said G. Paul LeBlanc, Vice President Sales and Marketing for WIH. “He brings proven business development results with many key segments, including meetings/incentives/conventions and exhibits, prominent extranet companies, and wholesalers and tour operators in Australia and New Zealand.”
LeBlanc added, “Warwick International Hotels has a long heritage in the South Pacific, but we have never been more bullish on the growth prospects for the region, as evidenced by the addition of a dedicated sales and service manager. Hoe ([email protected]) will focus on client services representing the more than 45 hotels, resorts and spas in the Warwick collection. He will have a specific emphasis on Warwick resorts in Fiji (The Naviti Resort, Warwick Fiji Resort & Spa, and Tambua Sands Beach Resort), Vanuatu (Warwick Le Lagon Resort & Spa) and Bali (Warwick Ibah Luxury Villas & Spa). He is a graduate of Charles Sturt University with a Bachelor of Business degree including studies in accounting, human resources and marketing. He speaks six languages: English, Mandarin, Thai, Cantoneses, Malay and Hokkein.
