March 2, 2011 - Trump Entertainment Resorts, Inc. announced the appointment of gaming industry veteran Eddie Llambias as General Manager of the Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino.
"Eddie Llambias is a respected talent in the gaming industry, and I am very excited about the future of the Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino property under his stewardship," said Robert Griffin, the Chief Executive Officer of Trump Entertainment Resorts, Inc. "His experience in all facets of casino operations will be vital as we launch a new promotion for the Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino, make new capital investments, including adding offerings on the casino floor, and introduce new customer service initiatives."
Mr. Llambias has spent 26 years in the gaming industry, most recently serving as the General Manager of the Treasure Bay Casino in Freeport, Bahamas-based. He previously held senior management positions at Isle of Capri casinos in the following locations: Bossier City, LA, Lake Charles, LA, Biloxi, MS and Pompano, FL. Earlier in his career, he held management positions in casinos operated by International Casino Club and Harrah's. Mr. Llambias started his gaming career as a croupier. He was born and educated in England.
