IHG Signs Two Agreements to Build Hotels in Panama and Colombia
Staybridge Suites Panama City and the Holiday Inn Bogotá-Airport
March 3, 2011 - The Staybridge Suites Panama slated to open in late 2012, will be the first Staybridge Suites property in Central America. The hotel will be located less than two miles off the Bridge of the Americas and next to the entrance to the popular Amador Causeway, within close proximity to the Figali Convention Center, the Smithsonian Institute of Tropical Research and other popular tourist destinations, fine dining restaurants and beautiful scenery.
The Holiday Inn Bogotá-Airport will be located within ten minutes of El Dorado International Airport, and is scheduled to open in August 2011. This is the third signing for IHG in Colombia in the last six months; the other two being the InterContinental Cartagena and the Holiday Inn Cartagena. Currently, there are five IHG branded properties opened in Colombia.
