BUFFALO, NY - March 10, 2011 - Buffalo Lodging Associates, LLC, a hotel development and management company, is happy to announce the appointment of Mary Abigail (Abby) Gerken to the director of sales position at Homewood Suites by Hilton® Cleveland/Beachwood, located at 25725 Central Parkway in Beachwood, Ohio.

Ms. Gerken joins Homewood Suites Cleveland/Beachwood from a Residence Inn in Toledo, Ohio, where she worked as director of sales for the last 2 years. Her previous experience includes 3 years with Marriott International, working in various sales positions, including time as a wedding and sports account executive for 13 hotels in the Toledo market.

Abby is a graduate of the University of Toledo, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Communications. She currently resides in Cleveland Heights, Ohio.

“Abby is a great fit for this position,” stated Connie Foote, corporate director of sales and marketing for Buffalo Lodging Associates. “She comes to us with extended-stay experience and extensive sales training; and we look forward to utilizing her skills to the fullest,” added Foote.
