Daniel Poray Named HR Manager for Westminster Hotel

LIVINGSTON, NJ, January 25, 2007. The Four-Diamond luxury Westminster Hotel in Livingston, N.J., has named Daniel Joseph Poray of Piscataway, N.J. as Human Resources Manager.

In his new position, Poray is responsible for recruiting, screening and interviewing job applicants, assisting with company benefits, policies and procedures, and developing and implementing employee training and recognition programs.

Opened in 2002, the award-winning Westminster Hotel features 183 luxury guest rooms, 15,000 square feet of banquet and conference space, a 120-seat restaurant and a full range of first-class amenities.

Poray, a resident of Piscataway, N.J., comes to the job with nearly 20 years of experience in all facets of the hospitality industry. Prior to joining Westminster, he served as director of human resources for the Fort Lee Hilton, as assistant general manager for the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Clark, N.J., and as director of food and beverage for Wyndham International in Toledo, Ohio. He has also served as center director for the Huntington Learning Center in East Brunswick, N.J.

Poray received his M.B.A. degree in International Business and his B.S. degree in Hospitality Management from Johnson & Wales University. He currently serves as an adjunct instructor for the Culinary Institute at Hudson Community College in Jersey City.
