Williams Ms. William is President and Founder of Soy Williams Consulting, Inc. based in Southwest Florida. She is a renown expert in the area of accessibility for persons with disabilities and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Soy Williams is a registered architect specializing in disability-related issues, architectural and program accessibility requirements of federal civil rights laws spanning six decades as well as model, state and local accessibility codes and standards. Appointed by President William Jefferson Clinton, she served on the United States Architectural and Transportation Barriers Compliance Board, the federal agency responsible for establishing minimum guidelines under the ADA.
