One&Only Palmilla Names Cristina Romero-Peri, SM Execuive Director
April 22, 2011 - One&Only Palmilla is pleased to announce the appointment of Cristina Romero-Peri as Executive Director of Sales & Marketing for the celebrated resort in Los Cabos, Mexico. In her new role Romero-Peri will be responsible for the overall sales and marketing functions for One&Only Palmilla based out of its Los Angeles sales office. Romero-Peri will report directly to Edward Steiner, SVP of Latin America and the Caribbean for One&Only Resorts.
“Cristina returns to One&Only Palmilla with a wealth of knowledge and experience in the luxury market of Los Cabos and we couldn't be more pleased to welcome her back to the One&Only team,” says Steiner. “Cristina worked closely with us as the pre-opening head of Sales & Marketing in 2004 so shares our same love and commitment to the resort and team.”
Prior to this appointment, Romero-Peri served as Regional Director of Sales & Marketing in Mexico for Capella. Romero-Peri also worked as Director of Sales & Marketing for Las Ventanas Al Paraiso and has served as the Area Director of Sales & Marketing in Mexico for the Kor Hotel Group.

Romero-Peri is a graduate of University of California, Berkeley, and she resides in Los Angeles with her family.
One&Only Palmilla, which has long been a favorite retreat for Hollywood celebrities and savvy travelers alike since it originally opened in 1956, underwent an extensive, year-long $90 Million rebuilding and expansion and re-opened in February 2004.
