Mafraq in Abu Dhabi Appoints an Exec Chef and a Marketing Manager
Abu Dhabi's new hotel Mafraq opens in the final quarter this year with two new team members.
Abu Dhabi - July 11, 2011 - The Mafraq Hotel announces the appointment of Kevin T. McIntyre as Executive Chef and Olga Hoyal as Marketing Manager.
Kevin McIntyre joins the team as an experienced and versatile chef with more than thirteen years' experience. A British national, McIntyre has worked his way up through the culinary ranks to manage kitchens internationally within five star hotels and restaurants such as the Hilton and The Westin. 'Kevin's Tea House' concept in Turkey is demonstrative of McIntyre's flair with innovation and creativity, something which translates in his menus and concepts.
Specializing in Mediterranean, Middle-Eastern, European and International cuisine, McIntyre's varied dishes make him the ideal candidate to launch Mafraq's culinary outlets which will include The Burlington Grill, The Olive Branch and Hunters Bar.
Olga Hoyal joins Mafraq Hotel with a background in hospitality marketing in Europe that spans over ten years. A Spanish national, Hoyal holds a Masters in Marketing and a Degree in Tourism Management in addition to further qualifications in online marketing and tourism marketing. New to the Middle East, Hernandez has honed her skills working in senior communication roles across Spain for hospitality groups, golf clubs, catering firms and publishing houses.
Hoyal has successfully completed the project of rebranding the Mafraq hotel and is excited to bring the new-look property to market. Her online marketing approach will bring a new element to the brand's integrated communications plan and open up new markets to the property.
