Dow Hotel Company Appoints Rob Adams GM of Marriott Suites in Anaheim, CA

Seattle, WA - July 14, 2011 - that Rob Adams has been named general manager of the 371-room Marriott Suites Anaheim in California. The hotel recently completed a multi-million dollar guest room renovation.

“Rob brings with him extensive operating experience, both within Marriott and with other upscale, full-service branded hotels,” said Murray L. Dow II, Dow Hotel Company chief executive officer. “Under his leadership and with his track record in sales and broad operations background, we expect this newly renovated hotel to generate superior revenues and guest service.”

Prior to joining the Marriott Suites Anaheim, Adams was general manager of the 238-room Denver Airport Marriott. He also held a number of increasingly important positions within Marriott, including area director of operations over five hotels and corporate director of guest services for seven hotels. Adams received his Bachelor of Science in Strategic Communications and English Literature from The University of Kansas.

Located just minutes from Disneyland and The Anaheim Convention Center at 12015 Harbor Blvd. in Garden Grove, Calif., the hotel targets both leisure and business travelers. The Marriott Suites Anaheim Hotel is home to SunSpot Restaurant and Starbucks Coffee house. With more than 10,000 square feet of meeting space, including an elegant 7,100-square-foot ballroom, the hotel caters to meetings of 10 to 820 people.
