Liberty Hotel Adds Two Sales Managers
July 27, 2011 - Boston's Liberty Hotel announces the appointment of Susan Blumenthal and Nelson Fernandes as group sales managers of the Beacon Hill hotel. Susan will oversee group sales in a portion of the corporate market and Nelson will oversee group sales in both a portion of the corporate as well as SMERF markets.
Before joining The Liberty, Blumenthal worked in the Starwood Boston Metro Market, and at Starwood's Westin Copley Place in Boston. During her three-year tenure with Starwood, Blumenthal was twice the Top Sales Producer, twice the Starwood Blitz Champion and the 2009 Top Teamhot Producer.
Fernandes came to The Liberty after opening Boston's W Hotel, where his Sales Team was nominated for Starwood Hotel Sales Team of the Year for New Hotels in 2010.
