Lee Weinstock Named Director of Sales for Half Moon, a RockResort
Rose Hall, Jamaica - August 5, 2011 - Tourism and hospitality industry veteran, Lee Weinstock, is the new director of sales for Half Moon, A RockResort located in Rose Hall, Jamaica.
With over 20 years of experience in the travel industry, Weinstock will concentrate on driving sales for the 400-acre resort, advancing and maintaining relationships with key group partners as well as leading a sales team consisting of wedding and event planners, group and travel industry sales personnel.
Prior to Half Moon, Weinstock was the group sales manager at Secrets Resort & Spa in Montego Bay, Jamaica where he was responsible for overseeing the entire groups and weddings department. During his tenure, Weinstock implemented several standards for groups that are now used company-wide.
Weinstock also owned and operated Jamaica Executive Tourism Consulting that was integral in providing technical assistance in market research, project design and implementation for Royal Caribbean Cruise Line's inaugural dock at the recently-opened Falmouth Cruise Port located in Trelawny, Jamaica. He also developed programmes for US-based retail travel organisations Valerie Wilson Travel and The Travelmart.
Additionally, Weinstock served as director of destination services at both the Ritz- Carlton Golf & Spa Resort in Montego Bay, Jamaica as well as the Ritz-Carlton Resort in Naples, Florida.

Weinstock holds of bachelor of arts degree in marketing from the Ohio State University in Ohio, United States.
